I am so happy you stopped by to say hello.

Hello, my name is Jenny, and I am the voice behind The Green Eyed Momma! This little blog tells the story of our wild ride as a family and my journey of motherhood.  My goal this year was to start blogging, although I have had my blog for three years. Writing is a true art form, and putting your thoughts into words takes time, love, and a passion for learning how to express yourself.

I am a huge fan of ice cream, cheese cake, lasagna, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and Mizzou college football. I am an avid reader, crafter, and baker who spends way too much time on Pinterest. I never leave the house with out a camera, and love capturing all of the little moments we share as a family. My days are filled with building towers out of blocks, digging in the dirt, blowing bubbles, snuggling and reading with our two boys under the age of five. I love this time with my children, and value every second we spend it together as a family.

Yet, I can not tell you the last time I did something for myself. As a Mom, it is just something that happens, it isn't intentional, and most of the time you just don't even realize that treating yourself becomes something rare. I just found the Ultimate Blog Party, hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom and Cottenelle. I can't wait to meet all of the other bloggers who are taking part in this party!
