Port Discovery - Fun Things to Do in August!


Summer Fun for Everyone!

With just a few weeks left before school starts, now is a great time to visit Port Discovery, in Baltimore, Maryland; where purposeful play and learning connect every day!  There are many events going on in August, and you do not want to miss out on the fun!
Kids can get their arms and legs moving and their hearts pumping in our brand new soccer field and ExerKid Games Arena, Kick It Up! Brought to you by UnitedHealthcare.

Plus, don't miss your last chance to experience The Adventures of MR. POTATO HEAD, our summer traveling exhibit, open now through September 3rd.

Join Scientist Sarah every Friday through August 31st for Sizzling Science Fun! Assist Scientist Sarah with cool experiments and make a craft to take home with you. Plus check out our Nano exhibit to explore things too small for the eye to see!

If you like animals, be sure to come to our annual Tortoise and the Hare Day on Saturday, August 25th. Make your own rabbit ears and meet live turtles, rabbits, and other animal friends with WildLife Adventures.
