The Green Eyed Momma

We have seen the Sullivan Farm's pumpkin stand at Shakleford and New Halls Ferry, for the last two weeks... Mikey found the huge containers filled with Pumpkins! Mommy was excited to see that the box had "The Great Pumpkin," on the side of it! Ryan and his over alls ! "Wow Mommy, there are a ton of pumpkins here!" Ryan "Lets go look at the pumpkins, Ryan!" Mikey and Ryan checking things out... "Hey Mommy, this guy is silly..." Mikey "I'm hiding Mommy..." "I really like this guy!" Mikey was thrilled they had a bounce house! Mikey "Its a hay ride Mommy!" ***No, I didn't lose Ryan or allow him to go play in traffic...he was there I swear! I am just now figuring out how hard it is to chase two boys and take pictures!***

Mikey's love of all creatures with 8 legs, has hit new heights... When we arrived at the baby sitter's house, Mikey was just tickled pink, to see an 8 foot blown up spider in Toni's front yard! He was SO happy! Mikey leading Ryan over to look at the spider... "He doesn't bite Ryan, I already touched him!"

Mikey has been dying to decorate our house for Halloween, so while at the store he begged to buy a "Cookie House Kit." All of the items purchased...and the picture perfect example of what the finished product should look like. Mikey was so excited to see that the box came with candy! Mikey helped make the purple and orange icing! The process was VERY messy...maybe the icing was too thin? We had orange icing running every where...had to grab a box to catch everything that was dripping off! Mikey had a blast "gluing" the candy down with squeeze icing! The completed house! Funny how it looks NOTHING like the picture, but Mikey had so much fun! He may or may not have eaten most of the candy that was supplied...

The time has come...we have purchased a new book bag. Ryan is no longer requiring so many things, so it was time to move him out of the "baby" diaper bag, and move him into Mikey's Thomas the Train book bag. With growth, comes change...and Mikey lucked out as the older brother! Mikey loves WWE, and John Cena...so when he saw this book bag at the store he was ready to let his Thomas bag go!

The annual Wehmer Mizzou Bus Trip! My Aunt Jill Wehmer and Uncle Jack Wehmer, plan and organize the trip to Mizzou for some tail gating and to watch the football game! I have 3 cousins on the Mizzou campus this year; Jeffery and Sarah Wehmer and Christopher Lilly! We caught the chartered bus at 12:30, and made the 2 hour trip to Columbia, Missouri. Jenny and Jeff (Dad) I called Chris Lilly to let him know that we had arrived, and he was welcomed to join us for lunch! He walked over, to lot X in just a few minutes! Chris Lilly and Jenny Sarah, David, Lindsay, Jeff, and Jackie Jenny and Chris Wehmer (My younger brother) Dad-Jenny-Chris (Missed you Matt, but we understand why you couldn't join us! It was Matt's first HS Homecoming, and he was going with 2 girls!) Jenny It was a great day, spent with my Aunts, Uncles, many Cousins, and all of our "adopted" family and friends. Jason and Erin came out to Mom and Dad's house, so all of the cousin's could play together! As much as it killed me...there was lots of dirt and sand to play in! Fun for hours, as boys are to be dirty! Connor, showing all of the boys how to use the shovel. Aiden Aunt Jessie and Ryan Mikey, Cooper, Connor, and Aiden on the sand pile! Cooper Mikey Mikey, Aiden , and Cooper...I love how they are all lined up, like a trail of worker ants! While the younger boys played, Dad and Jason played too! Happy Ryan!

We met the kids and Moms from the St. Louis Babies On the Brain Message Board Group at Faust Park, for another AWESOME play date! "St. Louis' Littlest Super Heroes in the Park!" Mommy, Leanne, and Grandma all worked really hard to make capes for Mikey and Ryan. Mikey wasn't sure what his super power was, so while flipping through the book of options, he chose the alligator! Not sure why, maybe he has jaws of steel? Mommy chose the lightening bolt, for Ryan, as he is a little speed demon these days!
