Heart Frame Photo Prop: (1) Large box Sharpie Scissors Gorilla glue red wrapping paper (2) spools of ribbon I cut the box open, and removed the two skinny sides. 2. I ended up with two square card board pieces. 3. Using brown paper, I made a very simple template for a heart shape. 4. After I cut out the simple heart shape, I then drew another heart shape inside. 5. I laid the template on the card board, and drew the design on with a sharpie. 6. I made two hearts, one on each square of card board. 7. Use very sharp scissors to cut the card board. 8. You will end up with two very rough hearts. 9. Using the Gorilla Glue, use enough glue to bond the two hearts together. Then let the glue cure per the box instructions. 10. Gather your tape, scissors, wrapping paper, and ribbon. 11. Mikey wanted to send some love to Mason and Mady. He told Ryan that he got to shop for the girl stuff and he would shop for all of the cool stuff for Mason. We let them shop at the local Target dollar isle, it was so fun to see what was selected! Mikey picked items that had to do with a general theme...robots! Ryan thought that Mady needed really girly stuff, and went with princess goodies! Mikey insisted on helping to wrap, so the packaging is not pretty; but wrapped with lots of love! We love our local ice cream shop, as it has a old fashioned ice cream parlor feel, and the ice cream is all handmade! The store also sells old fashioned candy...cheap! Whoo hoo, let's build a dinosaur! Can you say lots of dino sounds....ROAR! The kit and patch, love the dino bite! Ryan I had to laugh the arms in the dinosaur kit, was heavy card stock, but tiny!!! Do you have Grandparents that your children, weren't able to meet as they passed years before they were born? What things did you learn from them? What legacy have they left behind? My paternal Grandparents, James and Hazel Wehmer, passed many years before Michael Jr and Ryan were born. I can't help but wonder what my Grandma would have thought of Mikey's spunk and personality? Would she think that Ryan looks like me? My grandma Hazel, passed in 1995 while I was still in high school, and James or "Jungle," as everyone called him, passed in 1978. My grandparents were simple farming people; grandpa was a Marine and grandma was a Super Hero in my opinion.
