Dr. Seuss Party?

I couldn't convince the Chef to make Green Eggs and Ham, but we did have breakfast for dinner!
French Toast!
I then tried to explain to Mikey that it was Dr. Seuss's birthday, and he got all excited and asked if he was having a party.
In a 2 year old mind, birthdays always equal a party...sorry Buddy!

We did drag out all of our Dr. Seuss books, and did a few coloring pages, in honor of him.
Mikey will ask to color just about every night, so he was delighted to color the Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and Horton Hears a Who.
Mommy then read one of Mikey's favorites...Dr. Seuss's ABC!
Mikey then read all of the books to Mommy, which means he pointed at all of the fun things inside the book, and then tells me "The End."
***Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss, even if it wasn't a party and we did NOT have cake.
Sorry, we had brownies.***
