Monsters University Hidden Gems!

Image
Fans of Disney*Pixar’s feature films love to scour the screen in search of the Hidden Gems the filmmakers sneak into each film: WALL•E’s explorations uncover a Mike Wazowski antenna ball, paying homage to Monsters, Inc., and in Up, the classic Luxo Jr. ball can be seen in the girl’s bedroom as Carl Fredricksen’s house flies by her window. Disney*Pixar’s  MONSTERS UNIVERSITY  features a few such gems, three of which are revealed here: A113  – The School of Scaring classroom number is A113, which refers to the former classroom of John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Docter and Andrew Stanton at CalArts. The number makes an appearance in every Pixar feature film. Pizza Planet  – The Pizza Planet truck is in the driveway of the JOX fraternity house when Mike is riding Archie the Scare Pig down Greek Row. The Pizza Planet truck, which first made an appearance in "Toy Story," has made a cameo in nearly every Pixar feature film. Luxo  – The Pixar Luxo ball is in gr

{Review} Cascade Platinum Pacs Scrubs Away Stuck-On Food!

Image
I participated in a campaign on behalf of  Mom Central Consulting  for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for  participating. Do you dread washing dishes? Are your plates and glassware speckled with water spots and streaks? Countless times I have purchased dish washer detergent, run a full cycle, and then find out that my dishes still aren't clean and have lost their sparkle and shine. The idea of then washing the dishes by hand, just makes me want to imagine that the dirty dishes will wash themselves! There has to be a better way! There is a solution, and its found in Cascade Platinum Pacs! Cascade is so powerful, it helps your dish washer stay sparkling! It has a triple action formula, that helps prevent residue on your dishes, and even filming on your machine. Cascade Platinum scrubs away tough 24 hour stuck-on food, eliminates the need to pre-wash dishes, and has the Grease Fighting Power of Dawn!

20th Anniversary of the Sandlot & TASK Field Dedication #CardsCare #TASK #STLSandLot

Image
Thanks to Cardinals Care, FOX Sports Midwest, 20th Century FOX Home Entertainment, and the 20th Anniversary of the "Sandlot" a field was dedicated to some very special children in Fenton, Missouri. It was a morning I will never forget as Fredbird, the Fox Midwest Girls, and the staff of TASK all rallied around the children who were just smiling from ear to ear in anticipation of playing on the new baseball field!  David Mickey Evans (the Director) and Patrick Renna (Ham Porter), explained to those in attendance that the Sandlot was more than a baseball movie, it was a movie about friendship! Take a group of misfits, clean up an open lot, and all you need is a ball...it's where the real lessons in life were learned. The amazing thing about the "Sandlot," is that baseball was inclusive and allowed a kid with zero talent, to become legendary! "Your killing me Smalls," and "Play ball,"were quoted as Pat Renna played with his team. The sco

I was invited to see Monsters University, on Tuesday, at an advance screening, and loved it! There are so many great things to share with you, I will try to contain my excitement as I write!  Make sure you are there with plenty of time for the previews, as you will be treated to an extended clip for Planes, a preview of Frozen, and the big release of the Blue Umbrella! I thought the Pixar Short Film, Blue Umbrella , was artfully done, and was a feast for the eyes! The tale was unexpected, as every day objects draw you into the story and you cannot help but cheer for the Blue Umbrella, on his quest for love. (Look for the rain gutter, he was my favorite in this amazing short film.)   Monsters University, blew me away! It was beyond what I had hoped for, as I write this I cannot wait to take my 6 year old! He has asked what my favorite part was, and there are just too many, to select just one favorite scene  I promise I will not reveal any spoilers, so that you

Heading to the Advance Screening of Monsters University!

Image
Very excited to see Monsters University tonight! Have you registered yet, to attend MU? Monsters University is a Disney Pixar Film which arrives in theaters June 21st! You can create our own monster and school identification here: ( http://disney.go.com/monsters-university/create-a-monster/ ) Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer —and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer.   The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. “Like”  MONSTERS UNIVERSITY  on
