Five Question Friday

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear Friday morning and LINK UP!

1. What's the one thing you buy every time you walk into the store?

It seems like I am always buying bread, when ever I enter a grocery store these days. Between, making PBJ sandwiches, toast, or french toast; this family goes through a loaf of bread very easy!

2. If you had a day all to yourself how would you spend it?
I would sleep in late, then wake up and take a very long shower. I would then drive to a Starbucks, enjoy my coffee, and write on my blog. After that I would find something crafty to do, like paint your own pottery. I would wrap up my day with a manicure and pedicure, and pick out a really wild color.
3. Are you a speed limit driver? If not, over or under?

I drive the speed limit or under. I got a ticket at the age of 17, and have been overly cautious ever since. My husband hates it, and laughs when little sweet old ladies pass me and honk their car horns.

4. What's your favorite dessert to make, homemade or from a mix??
I love to make dessert! My favorite thing to bake is Gooey Butter Cake, which uses a yellow cake mix as a base. The special treat in our house is a Banana Split cake, which is made from scratch! There is just a sense of excitement when the family knows I am making either of these desserts, and I just love making them!

5. Would you rather have a spider or a mouse scurry across your face (no copping out and saying "neither!!")?

I would have to say a spider, as I could slap the little creature off, and then once he lands on the floor, I would stomp him to smithereens. Whereas, if it was a mouse, it would be fast, and I then would think about it being in the house, and I would spend days wondering if it found the mouse trap.

  1. Mmmm.. Banana Split Cake sounds wonderful!

I'd be worried about where the mouse went, but only because I'd worry it would chew something before one of the cats found it. I have terrible arachnophobia and if I lost track of the spider after I brushed it to the floor, I swear I'd have to call the Orkin man yo come do an emergency treatment. :)

  4. We are like sisters!

If bread last two days in my house it's a miracle. What I wouldn't do to be able to sleep in, and enjoy a relaxing day at starbucks and blogging. Plus the mani/pedi at the end of the day is like heaven!

Thanks for sharing. I am going to look into this 5 question friday blog.
