Did you have high expectations about what it would be like to be a mom, and you were clueless or way off reality? Join us next week and link up, as we share our thoughts on being a new mom!

  1. I'm with you on never taking lessons. I really need to change this. Great points on pool safety. I have worked with many, many children who have suffered from brain injuries due to near drowning accidents. It is so devastating and one of my worst fears!

  2. I think it's important to have swim skills, and I went all the way to life saving myself but oddly enough I despise swimming. My daughter can swim ok and enjoys it, but my son doesn't want anything to do with the water either.

  3. I really think basic pool knowledge is so important as well as skills. I also think it is cool that you might do swimming along with the boys. Showing them you are trying will make them want to learn too.
