Halloween & The Amazing Spider-Man Viewing Party

We were so excited to be able to celebrate Halloween, and to finally see The Amazing Spider-Man DVD that we preordered from Walmart. Thanks to Vudu and UltraViolet, we were able to watch this great movie, before everyone else, as it comes out on November 9th! 

The boys and I had so much fun making spider cupcakes. They helped to stir the batter and once cooled, they loved putting lots of frosting, sprinkles and colored sugar on each of the cupcakes. The funny part was making the eyes for the spiders, my little guy ate the marshmallows, almost as quickly as I was making them.

Our friends and neighbors all enjoyed carving pumpkins, and removing the pulp and seeds. There were some very talented pumpkin carvers, and then there was me...I'm am not very good with tiny tools. 
All of our guests enjoyed Marketside pizza, with many toppings! We tried each of the varieties, including Five Cheese, Pepperoni, Ultimate Meat, Philly Cheesesteak, Colossal Combo, and Supreme. They were so easy to bake in the oven, even with the number of pizzas we made to feed everyone, they baked quickly and we never ran out! (We will be purchasing Marketside pizza again!) We also checked out the Web Slinger App, that we scanned on the pizza box. (Yes, there is an App for that!)


While we enjoyed our pizza, I quickly set up the viewing of The Amazing Spider-Man! Watch this great trailer from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment:
UltraViolet and Vudu was quick and so easy to use, it made the setup for the viewing party a breeze! Another great  feature of Vudu is that they offer promotions and freebies, who doesn't love a deal?

We were on the edge of our seats for The Amazing Spider-Man! It was so cool, to see where and how Peter became Spider-Man. I will not give away the details, but you will love the action and amazing web slinging! I have always wanted to be able to shoot webs, and fly through the city, and once again Spider-Man does it with flair and finesse!
