Our house has dealt with illness this winter! (Most recently, my husband had pneumonia.) I was so excited to receive our Vicks Behind The Ear Thermometer, from Klout! The timing could not have been better, and the package was opened as if it was Christmas! 

 When dealing with a sick child or "man-child," you would love nothing more than to take away the fever and pain of being sick! The length of time it takes our old thermometer seems to take forever, when a little one just doesn't feel well. We have tried every kind: from under the tongue, in the arm pit, and one that swipes across the forehead...nothing is a quick as the Vicks Behind The Ear Thermometer! It never fails, that illness seems to call in the middle of the night, and the last thing I want to do is to tell either of my sons to sit still long enough in the middle of the night, to check to see how high their temperature is. (I love, love, love how easy the Vicks Behind The Ear truly is!) Even while sick, my little guy told me that it was really fast, and he was happy that he could go back t laying down! This Momma, has been converted, and I will be buying a Vicks Behind The Ear Thermometer for a friend's baby shower next month!

 Check for fever in just three easy steps.

Easy as 1-2-3

STEP 1: Press the "POWER" button and wait for "OK."
STEP 2: Place the thermometer gently in the hollow behind the ear, which is very close to the carotid artery.
STEP 3: Push the start button then release after the 1-second "beep." You'll see a reading on the LCD display.

SOME HELPFUL TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Make sure you push the start button all the way in.
  • Make sure that you wait for the 1-second beep before releasing the start button.
  • Be sure that the probe tip lays flat against the skin.
  • You can take another reading 10 seconds after you take the initial reading.
