Prayers For Boston

I am deeply saddened by the events of that happened in Boston, yesterday. I am heartbroken for the parents of the 8 year old, and 2 others that died in the senseless act that happened at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Two bombs exploded, hurting hundreds of people, and innocent people lost their lives.

I find comfort, that other explosive devices, were found before others were hurt. I am in constant awe of those first on the scene and the number of people that jumped in to help, regardless of their own needs or fears for safety! The City of Boston came together to help those in need, and that is the story I am sharing with my children. I find hope and peace, knowing that the City of Boston will not bend or waiver due to this horrible act.

My family will continue to pray this week for healing hearts, for peace, and unity in the coming days. Light a candle, say a prayer, train for the next marathon local to you, but do not give into the fear of the cowards behind the attack on Boston.
