{Giveaway Closed} Ready To Take The Get Carded 7 Day Challenge? #GetCarded

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Hallmark. I received a product samples to facilitate my giveaway and review. I received promotional items as a thank you for participating.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved getting and receiving mail. I loved making cards or spending hours in my local Hallmark store, selecting the perfect card to send to family and friends. The joy I felt, when raising the red flag on my mailbox just made me giddy! I have passed this excitement on to my children, and we enjoy walking to our mailbox at the end of the driveway, or making it an adventure a driving to out local post office.

I was challenged by Hallmark to send 7 cards, in 7 days via The Get Carded 7 Day Challenge, to friends and family in the hopes of reconnecting. It was easy to select the seven women that I sought to inspire and lift up, during this challenge! I selected them for many reasons, but I wanted each to know just how much I value their love and friendship.
  • My oldest friend since junior high school, Jennifer, who lives in another state, is the mother of triplets, and works full time.
  • My Aunt and mentor, Lynda, who taught me years ago that a card can bring a smile across the miles. (Also, bakes the worlds best cookies.)
  • My cousin Erica, who will move her family from the East Coast to the Midwest, and start a new job this week.
  • My Aunt Carol, who made the choice to go back to school after two of her kids left for college and just took the state boards.
  • My Grandmother, Ruby, who lost her spouse just a few months ago and taught me countless life lessons over the years.
  • My Aunt, Jill, who has made the choice to knock many items off her bucket list after being in remission and breast cancer free for five years.
  • Linda, the most amazing woman whom I love, admire, and thank daily for being my very first best friend and mother.
I am humbled that each of these inspiring, courageous, brutally honest, beautiful, and thought provoking women are part of my circle of support. It was knowing these things that I sent each of them a card, with the hope of sending a small part of me through the snail mail system. I was over joyed that each of these brilliant women called, emailed, stopped by, or reached out to me on the day that their card arrived in their mailboxes! I wont name any names, but one called and was moved to tears. I loved hearing from each of them, and reconnecting.

With this in mind, I want to challenge you! Who would you send a card to? Who in your life needs, a little boost, hug, or laugh? Do you think of calling or saying hello, but life just has a funny way of just flying by, before you realize it has been weeks since you last reach out to those who you care the most about? Take the 7 day challenge! Get carded, and send 7 cards in seven days!
